Confidential Counseling

Please contact us at 018-430 37 06 or info@studentprast.uu.se, or you can contact any of us directly (see Kontakt) to make an appointment for pastoral counseling (strictly confidential, protected by law). You can also just stop by the Chaplaincy.

Peaceful services

These will be held in Helga Trefaldighet Church (map) every Wednesday at 6pm.These services include a lot of music, candles and prayer. Contact us for more information.

Taizé prayer

Taizé prayers are held in Helga Trefaldighet Church (map) every first Sunday of the month at 6pm.

Gospel Choir

Our gospel choir God Tune rehearses every Tuesday in Helga Trefaldighet Church (map) 6-8pm. The choir is open for all students. There is no cost and no test you have to pass. Most of the songs are in English and the leaders can help you in english.

Foreign Language Services

Many churches in Uppsala hold services and organize activities in other languages than Swedish. 

Universitetskyrkan organize Taizé prayers which are both in Swedish and English and with a lot of music. It is in Helga Trefaldighet Church which is a smaller red brick church close to Uppsala Catherdral. map

The Pentacostal church have services in English on Sundays 13pm map

Lötenkyrkans Sunday services at 9.30 and 11.15 am are translated into English. (headphones) map

Cross Culture is a multi-cultural weekly service at 5 pm at Lötenkyrkan. It is in both English and Swedish. map

The Catholic Church celebrates Mass in English every Sunday at 6.15 pm. They also have a student group that have meetings every Thursday at 7 pm. English is often spoken here. map
